Title: Thrawn age
Post by: Meyer on July 09, 2007, 03:45:20 AM
Does anybody know how old Thrawn was in the time of the Thrawn Trlogy or Outbound Flight?

In standard years ?

Well, there were 36 years between Outbound Flight and the Thrawn Trilogy, and he was the youngest Chiss to achieve the rank of Force Commander.  So my guess would be in his 20s or 30s for Outbound Flight and his 50s or 60s for the Thrawn Trilogy.

Similar to my guesses but we don't know for certain. I hope Zahn writes a book about Thrawn's youth so we could get a exact age.

A book about the youth of Thrawn would be cool. I would like to see who his parents are.

Yeah he was. They didn't like his methods though. I've always assumed he was 27 during Outbound Flight.

Do you mean when he was in the Empire? Than I would prefer that too. But anything about Thrawn would be good.

mandalorians are human and chiss are just humans with blue skin and red eyes

well if you wanna get technical true mandalorians are descendents of the Taungs, and Chiss are different because of their voices. they can form sounds not able to be replicated  by human voice boxes, read outbound flight, when Car'das would try to speak Cheunh. they are just cool species.

the more important question is how long is the Chiss lifespan? they are aliens so it could be longer then humans. becuase during outbound flight there is the Chaf'orm'bintrano. and isnt he the same guy who is a diplomat to the Galactic Alliance?

One book from the birth of Thrawn, his youth and career in CEDF. book could end when he is gonig to intercept Bargain Hunter.
Second book about what happened after Outbound Flight, all the way to Mist Encounters.
and third concerning his action in the service of Emperor.

Those would be books I would like to read. Made by Timothy Zahn of course.
