Title: Raiding...?
Post by: GeorgeTKE on August 30, 2012, 10:51:52 PM
So what is Raiding and how to do I do it.  I can't seem to figure it out in game.  Yes this is a very dumb question...I am ashamed of myself.  =)

There is a 15% chance that a third faction fleet is jumping in during a space battle and starts attacking everything, that's what we call raiding. You cannot do it yourself.

I like raiding because one time i was plays as the Imperials VS the Empire of The Hand i lost they had more capital ships and stuff and i had 2 Victory Class and 3 Carrack Cruisers also 2 lancer frigate and a level 1 space station and just before i lost a New Republic Raid came and killed the rest of my star fighters and then destroyed the rest of EotH and i won  :) :) :).

I love the raids, it makes it more interesting.

I was attacking the IR as the NR in early From The Ground Up, had a couple Bothan Assault Cruisers, then out of nowhere two ISDs jumped in behind me, never have retreated so fast! Haha

There was once in AoW a raid fleet appeared over Ithor(my planet) and it saved my life.  It literally crushed the attack fleet, including Thrawn( yeah I know) and I got into the next era.
