hey, i really want to make a simple online game but i don't know what software to use. could someone help me?

Yeah really depends on what you want to do.
If you just want to be able to click some stuff on a webpage or something PHP(with SQL) and JavaScript should be the languages you need.
If you really want to make an online game with multiplayer etc then there's really nothing "simple" about it.
