how do you add models to the game creating new units in the game

basically i have downloaded models off filefront and i want to know how to put them into a mod for eaw the models are for the loronar strike cruiser some rebel interdictor and the providence class sruiser

google a tutorial, because its not just like putting a file in a folder or something.. there is quite a but of coding to aswell, and well, im to lazy to write you a tutorial, sorry :P
