playing online and i cant seem to figure out how to upgrade them so they carry disruptors.
Please any help appreciated.
cheers,
Merc
-
i meant to say as playing the consortiums
They have mercenary assualt squads which are good against the rebel b2b tanks. But i cant seem to figure out how to upgrade them so they can have the disruptor and allow you to switch to that weapon. TRYING HARD TO BEAT MY FRIEND BEFORE THE WHOLE GALAXY IS LOST!
-
You do black market corruption on a planet and buy the upgrade.
-
hi,
i did that. But still there is no option to buy from the barracks. Is it something i need to do on the planet i corrupted itself?
Also does it matter which planet?
PLEASE HELP
i need a noob step by step guide on how to get disruptors for merc assaults
lol desparate to win this
-
You don't buy it from the barracks.. you buy the upgrade from the black market, and then all of your assault squads are automatically given disruptors in place of their blasters. Same goes for any you make afterwards.
-
how do you buy from the black market? Do you click on the planet and buy?
-
See pages 4 to 7 in your Forces of Corruption manual. If for some reason you can't find your manual, you can download a pdf version of it here (http://www.replacementdocs.com/download.php?view.5387).
To access the Black Market, send Tyber Zann, Urai Fen or Silri to the "Buy" slot at a Black Market planet to purchase new technology. The Black Market Window will appear with an assortment of technology available to purchase. You will also see technology that is not yet available or has already been purchased.
-
wow thanks!
downloading now
-
what if there is no buy slot on the planet?
-
Then you're probably dragging Bossk or IG-88. They can't buy.
-
If you're looking in the build bar, that's not how it works.
-
where should i be looking at?
-
In the main game, you get the Black Market tech through corrupting enemy planets, you don't build them on your own. You need to spread the corruption stuff, then you can buy the technology via heroes IIRC.
-
so do i just drag and drop the hero on the planet i setup a black market on?
-
Yes
-
ok wow i finally got it !
but the problem is there is no option to buy disruptors...
at all
there are heaps of other options just not disruptors...
anyone know what could be wrong?
-
I don't think all black market technologies can be purchased from one planet, perhaps try setting one up on another planet (e.g. if your first is on an Empire planet then set the next one up on a Rebel planet)?
-
More likely disruptors has a prereq to purchase.
-
Disruptors can be bought on Imperial planets iirc.
-
oh lol - what if i already took over all the imperial planets and all that are left are rebel and consortium planets. Will there be no way to buy disruptors?
