My favourite jedi is Kit Fisto.
-
I'm not sure... May be Mundi, may be Dooku....
-
Silly Goose! Dooku's a sith...(unless you mean from back in the day)
-
Back in the day.
-
I never really read about him when he was "back in the day"...here I come wiki.
-
Qui Gon or Mace for me. B)
-
Roan Shryne
-
Luke Skywalker.
-
Ninja-Jedi
-
Yoda
-
Bane
-
Corran horn or Ganner Rhysode.
they pwn.
-
I have to agree with the answer Yoda because what is cooler than seeing a little green dude doing flips and combat moves with a lightsaber?
-
Yoda, Mace, Saba Sebatyne and Qui-Gon Juin
-
Bane
Bane who?
-
Yoda, Corran Horn, Obi Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker
-
obi wan kenobi.........rocks
-
yoda all the way
-
Jorus C'Baoth..Mostly because he didn't care for the ideals of the order.
-
But he was quite cocky and arrongant. He thought that non-jedi should serve jedi.
-
well really those are the thoughts of the sith
-
But he was quite cocky and arrongant. He thought that non-jedi should serve jedi.
And what Jedi wasn't? If you look at the start of the Clone Wars it was the Jedi who were so full of themselves, Saying that it was basically their down fall in the end. Their ideals for peace and the order blinded them from what our favourite Sith was doing right under their noses.
-
I wouldn't say Yoda or Obi-Wan was cocky
-
mace windu maybe
-
They both were cocky, and arrogant for example when Obi-Wan and Anakin landed on the invisible hand once they sensed Count Dooku Obi-Wan said "We spring the trap." That is a bit cocky if you ask me. Yoda was cocky for sending Obi-Wan off to kill Darth Vader at mustafar. When clearly since Darth Sidious was on Coruscant. It was clear then Yoda overestimated himself there.
-
I disagree
-
Perhaps you are right then, It's just my opinion.
-
does it have to be a jedi?, because i would say Revan, but hes a sith, but of the "jedis" i would say Yoda
-
Revan was a jedi.
-
two times in fact
-
Revan was during KOTR era, correct?
-
Indeed
-
Ah, I thought so...I've never played KOTR 1, I have the second but was disappointed by the game play.
-
??? How can you be dissapointed!!!
-
I'm going to buy KOTOR 1 some day. it seems very good game.
-
??? How can you be dissapointed!!!
An RPG game in my theory would be like FF7/FF8. KOTR wouldn't even been classified as a RPG by those standards.
-
what are FF7/FF8?
-
It's an abbreviation for Final Fantasy.
-
I have never played and will not ever play Final Fantasy!!!!!!!!
-
I think another possible Jedi I favoured has to be Mace Windu. I mean anyone who could take out a CIS seismic tank with his bare hands is cool in my book.
-
not even a jedi could destroy tank with his bare hands
-
well maybe not with his hands, but he could just throw a big rock at it.... lol
-
in the clone wars cartoon he coulld
-
Yeah that is what I was going by, And he even stated it in a book I read.
-
Well in the Dark Nest books, Luke crushed a lightsaber crystal with his hands
-
I still don't believe that with their bare hands. maybe with force but hands no
-
it depends if we mean physically destroying things with their hands, or whether we mean using their hands to manipulate the Force in order to destroy things - the lightsaber crystal mentioned i could see Luke physically destroying, but Mace and the tank i think has to have been force manipulation
-
Now that is something I can believe
-
He was punching battle droids, and destroying them with his bare hands as well...He took out a whole legion doing that.
-
And where did you read or see that
-
It was in the Clone Wars Cartoon mini series.
-
cartoon. It makes it funnier for kids.
-
hm it was a terrible cartoon the second series was really bad 1st series wasnt to bad it was quite good
-
cartoon. It makes it funnier for kids.
I still think Mace could do it anyhow.
-
You can believe what ever you want.
-
:-X Anyone who can decapitate the Galaxy's deadliest man, I'm sure can do a lot.
-
What about person who kills him.
-
or the person who killed the person who killed Mace who killed Jango Fett... this could go on and on... well actually it couldnt
-
no it couldn't
-
Haha, Well yes I see a point, But that isn't what I meant. We could always leave it at Mace Windu was great Jedi?
-
he was once
-
Well shocks, At least we can agree on that much.
-
but he still ain't my favourite jedi.
-
i hate windu always have always will
he killed my fave character
-
I liked Jango wasn't my favourite but good.
-
The Best Jedi Has To Be Qui-Gon Jin ::)
-
damn somebody teach this new kid a lesson about cool jedi
-
everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and Qui Gon is certainly better than a lot of other jedi
-
True, Indeed Qui-Gon Jin held much to his own opinion...Kinda like Jours C'Baoth...Which is cool in my book. :D
-
Qui-Gon Jin was better and greater jedi than C'Baoth or Windu.
-
better than C'Boath certainly, but i think that Windu is more powerful than Qui-Gon, certainly in terms of skill with a lightsaber - although it may be that Qui-Gon is more experienced in the power and ways of the force
-
exactly
-
better than C'Boath certainly, but i think that Windu is more powerful than Qui-Gon, certainly in terms of skill with a lightsaber - although it may be that Qui-Gon is more experienced in the power and ways of the force
I would beg to differ, Going on with what Jorus did in the Outbound Flight. I'm sure it will take an huge amount of knowledge of the force to use the Jedi meld technique.
-
and what about Qui-Gon 'visiting' Yoda after his death, im sure that would also require a great deal of knowledge and power in the Force to do that
-
Agreed, But many of a jedi has done that, Only few ever have achieve the Jedi Meld technique.
-
is that only a few have achieved it or only a few have attempted it ?
-
I would assume achieved, Due to the fact if done or carelessly wrong can lead into the Dark Side of the force.
-
But didn't Anakin use it aboard Outbound Flight. or at least he felt it.
-
I don't recall Anakin ever being included into the Jedi Meld, Although Jorus did practice it time from time.
-
no, Anakin didnt join with the Jedi Meld, but he was in a position to feel its presence.
-
Thought as much, Anakin's head probably would have exploded...I just kid, He would go running back to Palpatine.
-
Anakin was the most powerful jedi in the history.
-
I thought that title was given to Luke?
-
no. He was an offspring of the most powerful jedi.
-
so was it Anakin most powerful of the Old Jedi Order (followed by Yoda ?) and Luke as the most powerful of the New Jedi Order ?
-
See I always thought Luke was "The" most powerful Jedi ever, Which in turn would have been followed by Anakin Solo. Luke was ranked higher than Yoda, Or previous Masters. Anakin Skywalker served his destiny by bringing balance to the force. I don't recall it ever stating he would be the most powerful Jedi.
-
Anakin Skywalker's "father" was the Force so I think that makes him the most powerful
-
I beg to differ, I am a strong believer that Palpatine is Anakin's father. Hints the numerous quotes about influencing the Midi-chlorians to create life. That is all trivial, However it could have all been a ploy by our favourite Sith to wipe out the Jedi.
-
Well even if Palpatine used midi-chlorians to create Anakin he still would be created by the Force.
-
and whether or not Palpatine did influence the Midi-Chlorians doesnt matter - because in the event, Anakin is/was stronger than any other Jedi/Sith of the time
-
my point exactly.
-
That is all trivial, Because no one can prove Anakin is/was the most powerful Jedi. There are just too many facts leading against it. For instance how Dooku, and Obi-Wan managed to beat him.
-
when did Dooku beat him ??
and Obi-Wan won because Anakin's anger (at Obi-Wan and the Jedi in general) and fear (for Padme) distracted him
-
He lost both because he was going against Jedi Masters/Former Jedi Masters, while he was still but a k=Knight.
-
but when did Dooku defeat him ?? or are you meaning the fight at the end of EpII, because if you are, Anakinwas far stronger (and proved it) when he fought (and won) on the Invisible hand
i wonder how Anakin would have fared against Yoda :P
-
In Episode III Yoda would have owned Anakin..3-4 years time. It would have been the other way around.
-
Even the most stronger can't always win if your opponent is more experienced.
-
True, Darth Vader relied on brute strength, and he seemed to dominate all who opposed him. It was in the Book "Dark Lord, The Rise Of Dark Vader." When he first battle former Jedi Knights. It stated in the book blocking a saber swing from him was enough to make the light saber your holding come lose of your grip. From the shear brute strength.
-
I meant stronger in Force. well physical strenght counts too
-
Either way everything from brawns to brains matters in a fight...Darth Vader was naturally gifted at both.
-
true
-
i'm afraid anakin couldnt of been that powerful a jedi if he was so easily turned
-
he was a powerful Jedi, but that power was not exhibited in such a way as to prevent him from falling to the Dark Side
-
ah but he concentrated more on his fighting techniqes then
-
he was young
-
what exactly do you mean by that
-
he was younger, therefore had more physical strength and agility than his opponents, while also being less experienced and attuned with the Force
-
he was a powerful Jedi, but that power was not exhibited in such a way as to prevent him from falling to the Dark Side
Wasn't that whole point of the so called prophecy?
-
Oooh! Mara Jade is my favorite jedi! She's so cool!
*sniff* no ones likes me..*pulls out chainsaw and slices up karma box* HA! TAKE THAT KARMA-BAKA!
-
Woe, Mara Jade was awesome. I have to admit!
-
yes. she was
-
Plo Koon
-
wasn't he the one whos fighter was shot in during Order 66 in Ep. III?
-
yes
-
He wasn't shown much in the movies. So how did you get to like him?
-
he has a bigger part in some of the books i believe
-
Well there are many books I haven't read so maybe he is shown more in there.
-
wasnt he also in the Clone Wars animated series as well
-
Was he?
-
Ploo Koon also was one the most powerful Jedi, physically.
-
and he just looks and talks cool
-
doesn't he use a breathing mask?
-
yeah, covers his entire face
-
I thunk it makes him look funny
-
http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/8/83/KoonUnmasked.jpg
theres him without a mask
-
now that looks weird.
-
mask makes him look cooler
-
He needed that mask to filter oxygen, right?
-
he grew up on a world with little oxygen, so there was special gas on that planet that the mask gives that his species need
-
He doesn't breeth oxygen but some sort of other gas mixture. At least in my opinion.
-
Well what ever he breaths, He is still a formidable opponent.
-
one of the best fighters pilots in the Jedi Order.
-
He may have even survived being shot down
-
No way.
-
why not ?
-
well it was shown in the movie how he was surrounded by fire and just moment after the fighter exploded.
-
doesnt mean he couldnt have survived - how many other Jedi were in similar 'impossible' situations and survived ?
-
True, Ankin recovered with 90% 3rd degree burns covering his body...Another example Darth Maul.
-
Darth Maul didn't survive. And Anakin was very powerful in the Force.
-
Oh but Darth Maul did survive. Maybe not cannon..But he should have
-
Despite Plo Koon appearing to have died in his starfighter during Revenge of the Sith, an image which appears in Ultimate Missions: Clone Strike which was released shortly before the film shows a Kel Dor Jedi with blue lightsaber walking away from a starfighter which looks exactly the same as Plo Koon's. While this Jedi was not named, it is possible due to the fact that he has the same lightsaber and starfighter as Koon that it is in fact the same character. In addition to this, the image was not given in any context and so it is unclear whether this is Koon walking from his starfighter when it was damaged during the film, or a previous battle.
-
"was released shortly before the film"
So it doesn't mean he survived because he is in picture. And look at this picture:
http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/4/4c/Jedi_Hunted.jpg
-
whats Ultimate Mission: Clone Strike ?
-
so he could have survived, he might not have, im just sayin its possible
-
http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/4/4c/Jedi_Hunted.jpg
Then why does that poster says he is dead?
-
they shot his plane down, so they thought he was dead
-
shot his plane down and after that it EXPLODED while he was still in it.
-
im not saying its LIKELY he survived, but that could have been an engine burnout
-
all those flames? Well we all have freedom of opinion so I don't say you have change yours but I strongly disagree.
-
Jedi have exceptionally fast reflexes, it is not beyond the scope of possibility for him to have escaped, then when the Clones went to check they could neither confirm nor deny his death, since there would be no evidence either way - and propaganda would ensure that they announced him as dead.
-
http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/4/4c/Jedi_Hunted.jpg
Then why does that poster says he is dead?
But look!..Shaak Ti isn't deceased on that poster!
-
No she is not there has never been a confirmed death on her.
-
She did survive, she went into hiding on Felucia
-
Wait Woe..Grievous himself killed her...Non canon I assume?
-
no, that was one of two possible death scenes for her in Episode 3, but they were both deleted
-
apparently Grevous only 'subdued' her on Coruscant while chasing Palpatine and nicked her lightsaber - Mace saved her from dying
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Shaak_Ti
-
It is non-canon as far as I have understanded.
-
Pity, Plo Koon gets blow out of the sky..And Shaak ti eludes deaths in 2 scenes.
-
Davy Jones: "Life is cruel."
-
yeah
-
Never has a truer phrase been uttered by man
-
Yep. Sould we open a topic conserning favourite sith? I wonder what those results would say.
-
*Dooku* *Sidious* *Maul* *Vader* *Revan* etc
-
Bane
-
Despite my username my favorite Jedi are Obi Wan and Luke.
-
I think Mara is good.
-
I'm picking another..And it's Cin Drallig...despite local critics, He was a good Jedi.
-
wasn't he the blademaster of the jedi order?
-
He waas one
-
He taught most of the Jedi how to wield a light-saber...and he knew most the sword saber techniques.
-
but still he was defeated by Darth Vader
-
Sadly, Yes..Which I can't tell you how Vader managed to do that.
-
Technically Vader was the chosen one
-
Of course, But Obi-Wan managed to beat him.
-
Then Anakin could have been distracted alot by anger and hatred
-
if u really wanna know how he died play rots game
-
The reason Obi-Wan eat Anikin is because he taught him everything he knew
-
i doubt obi-wan taught him force choke
-
if u really wanna know how he died play rots game
I've played it actually, And it just seems sooo unlikey.
-
I Know how he learned force choke Ill have to recall where i learned this
-
I would also like to know that tidbit.
-
he learned it during the clone wars.
-
Jorus was a Jedi and he used to too, So maybe the Jedi know it they just never use it.
-
Yeah maybe most see it as too close to the dark side
-
Did Kyle Katarn say something on the lines of "It's the the abilities of the force that make you turn to the darkside, It's how you use them."
-
most Force powers have no inherent light/dark influence, it is the motivation behind their use that determines that.
-
i guess so but choking is a very aggresive form of usage of the force
-
yes, it is quite aggressive, but so are a lot of other Force powers - influencing another sentient's mind is aggressive. And in the case of Force Choke, the strength of the choking could be a factor affecting whether it is a 'dark' power - compressing the throat temporarily is not the same as throttling the person to death.
-
But Jorus used Force Crush to stop that missile, And Mace Windu used it against Grievous.
-
Crushing an inanimate object isnt the same thing as choking a living creature.
-
But isn't everything in the force a living object?
-
i was under the impression that while everything leaves its trace in the Force, inanimate objects are just 'there' - isnt that partly why Joruus C'boath (the mad clone version) didnt like R2 ?
-
If it wasn't part of the force when Jedi wouldn't be able to lift it and such.
-
i didnt say the werent part of the Force, i said they only leave a trace, rather than a 'presence' (for want of a better word).
-
So then what the better the object is the bigger impression on the force it makes, Cause in retro spec most metal is made from refine material.
-
Windu was not using it out of hatred and droids like he said only leave a 'trace'
-
Grievous wasnt total droid, his vital organs an brain were there
-
Call me a skeptic but I do believe that had to coexist into the force, And the force is a living thing, So that would be anything inside the force living.
-
but the force has sentient beings not living ones
-
They are all the same when it comes to the force, Species, Race..It matters not The force is a supposed building block of the whole galaxy, It binds everything together.
