Title: Exception!

I get an Exception whenever I launch FOC on my laptop. I have a 64-bit Vista and EAW works fine on it.
Help, please! :-[

This is what the '_Except' file says:

Exception in thread DBC - Main Thread
Exception code EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
    The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.
    Attempt to read from address 00000018

Exception occurred at 00996ADE - Unknown code pointer

Do you have more than 3GB of RAM?

If so, try the new 3GB fix which can be found here: http://www.lucasarts.com/support/update/EAWFOC1_1.html#ramfix

That fix is by no means knew. Mike.nl made an identical one over a year ago, i think

This is the official one, not Mike's. Mike's is good, but it doesn't always work. The official one directly fixes the issue.
