Hi guys I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, i haven't seen it anywhere but will there be a centerpoint mission anywhere? Cuz if i remember it was around 18 ABY which was about a year before the hand of thrawn books, so it would be perfectly within the time frame and as a replacement for the ion cannon/hypervelocity gun if you own the planets in the corellian system or corellia you could create one of the small repulsors or "build" centerpoint to activate for space battles, i mention this because i just finished re-reading the showdown at centerpoint book.

Ummm. Well then you miss understood its power. the Centerpoint station can destroy any and every ship class out there. And it was responsible for the destruction of the Fondor Shipyard. and I think it could easily blow up a Planet. it maybe cannon. but i think That would tip the balance of power on the controller's favor

yea centerpoint would make the game way to unbalanced.

yeah i know how powerful it is but if you remember all the repulsors adapt themselves to whoever touched them first so that only one person could fire them, and centerpoint did the same with Anakin Solo, as if you read some of the vong books the hapens have just given their fleet to Leia and then anakin is about to fire the weapon and while he is still holding the firing mechanism thracken sal-solo (oh ill make a mention of him as an indigenous hero) fires it.

Also, the Empire itself, or any of the Imperial leaders that represent the tech levels were not involved in that.
EDIT: Whoops, I forgot the not. Its italicized now.

Personally, while i agree that Centerpoint is too powerful to include properly, i wouldn't mind seeing it as the focus of a skirmish map. ;)

i guess it woudlnt be bad for a skirmish battle but i think in GCsif one person had it then that one person wouild be way to powerful in game

It should probably be a prop on the Corellian space map, but anything gameplay-wise would be far too overpowered.
