I take it you aren't a fan of what Del Rey has done? Or are you just a Zahn purist?

I loved most of NJO, so slightly disappointed with the Legacy of the Force series. I have Fate of the Jedi: Outcast in my hands... hoping Allston can return and add some humor back into the recent drama-heavy arcs. Christie Golden's Starcraft: Dark Templar series gives me hope she'll write a good SW novel, but we'll see.

After reading the Legacy of the Force books, I'm going to give Star Wars literature a nice long break.

It went South in the NJO books. Once they killed off Chewie-we all knew where it was headed.

Meh, i didn't really like that Chewie died when i first read it, but now i don't see what all the fuss is about.  They can't have all the main characters constantly dodge death for ever!

I think im going to continue reading the novels for now.  There's some interesting ones coming up, Zahn's one, Imperial Commando, Millennium Falcon, etc.  Plus this Fate of the Jedi series could be good :)

found my next star wars book. but y does it have to be so far away though. oh well guess back to re-reading some books.
