What I've seen is that the fighters will attack other fighters and bombers when nothing bigger is around, but what I would like is for the fighter to prioritize the other fighters and bombers even when say a frigate or capital ship is around. It makes sense that the bombers attack a larger ship but in my opinion the fighters should be going after the enemy fighters or bomber before even thinking about going after the enemies main ships.
