Waiting on MrPuerto to see what's going to happen if he's still in for this.
I won't be able to write, since I'm starting school tomorrow. However I thought about it and I'll probably write some stuff up tomorrow between classes. Can't leave everyone hanging

Ordo walked out of his shuttle and looked around the Naval Station, holding his personal pistols by the blaster to deliver unto any security forces present. True to his word, he was the only life form or droid on that shuttle.

The rest of Ordo's forces remained in the gravity well, furiously hailing the other fleet to hyperspace in for the sake of the negotiations.

I do sincerely apologize for letting this RP die, as life caught up to me when I was trying to figure out how to continue.

Check this post in 24 hours, it will have the next phase, Mrpuertorican willing.

I'm totally up for continuing, but without the rest of the crew I doubt it will happen.

do you have HK-47 on your ship?

Not HK-47, but an HK-series Droid. Being that my intelligence agent is in charge of sleepers he knows better than to trust organics, and thus goes out of his way to procure useful droids. The HK alone cost him as much as a starship, and it wasn't even functional when he procured it.

The modified Arquitens streaked through hyperspace, the enhanced stealth capabilities keeping it at worst a faint echo on Scimitar Command's sensors. Inside, the vessel was oddly quiet, with none of the sounds one would expect of an aging ship manned by a standard crew of approximately two dozen. Suddenly the silence was broken by an alarm, and a half-dressed man burst out of his quarters, running towards engineering. There, he was met by two droids: one, a tall, roughly humanoid build; the other, a squat Imperial Astromech.

"What in the blazes is wrong this time," he groggily demanded.

The tall droid turned to face him. "Statement: It would seem that reactor coolant system 3 is failing. Again."

The man sighed. "Alright, I'll see what I can do." He cast his glance down to the astromech. "C4, you're with me. See if we can do anything to alleviate the strain on system 3."

The little Droid let out a series of self-righteous beeps. "Translation," the tall droid said, "C4-K3 is most pleased to remind you of his opposition to maintaining stealth while in hyperspace."

"I'm sure he is," the man replied with a chuckle. "Duly noted. Next time I need to go on a mission and you disapprove I'll shove you out an airlock first so you don't keep reminding me. Alright, come on, you help me out here and I'll give you five minutes unrestricted access to Imperial Intelligence Files."

C4 responded with a pleased whistle, and trundled off to follow the man as he headed into the engineering bay.

A Short Time Later

"Well, that was a hassle, but at least we should be stable again. Alright C4 my friend, a deal's a deal. Let's head to the bridge and I will get you plugged in."

Once on the bridge, he walked toward a small computer station, turning it on.

"There you go, it's all yours. Remember though, five minutes," he reminded.

With C4 contently sitting through data files, Halifax now took the time to check the rest of the ship's systems. Looks like everything else is holding steady. I knew I should have gotten a new ship: this old thing is almost entirely automated, but hasn't seen a major refit in twenty years. The bridge doors slid open, and the tall Droid entered. But getting ahold of you instead was too much to pass up. "HK, status update."

"Summation: No signs we have been detected. The vessels continue heading deeper into the Unknown Regions. As for communications with the missing agents, there has been no new signals sent from this region of space."

"Something's gotta be up. My sleepers have transponders surgically inserted into them. Even if they die, the signal doesn't stop, just changes from: 'alive' to 'dead.' I want answers, and my buddy Nerix is the best lead I have to finding out what happened to them."

HK inclined his head. "Query: If Captain Nerix is your comrade, why the secrecy?"

Halifax flashed a smile. "I don't want to bother him with a formal request, plus that would take too much time. I'm sure he would much rather have a nice surprise anyways."

Meatbags. I will never understand their illogical eccentricities. "Statement: I see."

"Besides, it's been far too long since I've been on a proper field mission, and I didn't want to risk the chance of being turned down, he continued. "Sleepers are my responsibility, and I need to get to the bottom of this."

"Inquiry: Will we be seeing Commander Crispus again?" HK asked. "I do hope so, it is refreshing to interact with a like-minded being."

"Yes, she'll be there. One of the high points of this assignment, seeing dear Fara again," he said wistfully. Then he paused, mulling over the droid's words. "What do you mean, a being like you?"

"Explanation: My designation is a Hunter-Killer unit; my purpose is singular. Commander Crispus' primary function is the same."

"Interesting." I'll have to remember that, it should help me narrow down my search about who she really is. "Anyways, I think I'll be heading back to bed, at least until the next system decides it wants to break. C4, time's up." The astromech obediently unplugged from the input socket and rolled off the bridge. Halifax followed, with HK-60 following close behind. The lights dimmed, and soon the ship returned to eery silence.

"I will see you and your fleet at the Naval Station then." Madara ended the communication, and stood up from his chair. He was lying in wait for many years for this exact moment, everything had fallen into place perfectly. He looked into the deep dark void that was space, waiting for the New Republic fleet to arrive.

A shuttle launched from Madara's flagship, and began docking with the Naval station.

Ordo's face turned into a scowl seeing his own fleet watching him.

"Fine! If the left hand is unaware of the right hand's doing, the left hand will disobey orders!" Ordo announced. "I'm sending a message to my 'comrades,' and I'm going to the Naval Station, alone." With that he did indeed send a message to Nokri explaining the situtation, before getting into a shuttle and heading to a dock on the Naval Station, as he promised, completely alone.

Personal Log of User: Jarith Relyr

Well, I guess we're heading to battle. The captain said something about that, I think. Today was rather dull. At dinner today everyone was talking about what Commander Crispus said earlier; I don't know what that was about. She was talking about something, but I didn't hear my name so I guess it wasn't about me. I hate it when I don't notice someone trying to get my attention, so I built something that administers a mild shock when an auditory queue is registered. No shock, not an issue for me to handle. Today was a zero shock day.

The Captain's idea to boost comms through our Sensor Array gave me an idea for a new trick. Maybe we'll get to use it next time we're in a fight. It does have a bit of a drawback, but I think the benefits outweigh the costs. The Captain is great, he lets me work on these things while I'm on duty when there's nothing else I need to do. My last Captain didn't, he would always take whatever I was working on and sell it.

Speaking of my assignment, I noticed something strange when we jumped to hyperspace. It almost looked like someone was ghosting our jump. I'll have to ask the Captain about that, as soon as I finish these last adjustments to the Commander's weapon. I asked her how she got one of these; I mean, tech like this is hard to come by, especially in Imperial Space. She said it was something she picked up in the wreckage of a battle. I don't know if that's true, but it doesn't matter to me. Getting a chance to see how one of these works is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The folks back home would be amazed if I told them I was working on this. Anyways, I better get back to work now.
