Let's see who knows this one.
It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills.
It comes first and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.
This should be easy.....

Yep, the first stop is at the bottom of the hill, which he walks down to on a morning, then after work he gets of at the second stop (at the top of the hill) and walks down to his home.

Your turn Dane Kiet.

Nope.  And if that had been the case, he would get on at the second, and off at the first.

the bus arrives later to the second stop. it first goes past the first and on to second.

The sad thing is, I think I've heard of this riddle before  :( I just don't remember it.... Oh well, maybe tomorrow.

Well, chances are it would be a different bus.  But you mean bus route, right?

Either way, thats not the answer :P

EDIT:  I'll give you a clue, its something to do with before and after getting on/off the bus.

Two different buses?

They were sneaky :P

Right, my turn.  I'll go for an easy one after those two tricksters:

A man lives exactly halfway between two bus stops.
To catch the bus to work on a morning, he goes to the first bus stop, yet when he returns home he gets off at the second.
Why?
