But my suggestion is to make texture be scattered more randomly, so it's not field of dots:

Sorry to double post but...

The Force of War January Update Part 1

We at FOW have been busy lately.  We understand that we havent updated in a while and apolagise.  However, lots of progress has been made.  For those of you that don't know, FOW is now part of the Alpha Blue Modding Group.  This has been EXTREMELY helful to the mod.  Development is starting to speed up a bit.  Models are in producton, maps are being finished, and coding is being... coded.  Admiral Jamocking is working on some serious gameplay changes which will be shown off in part 2 of this update which should come out sometime in the next day or so.  But you guys dont want to just listen to me blab!  You want to see something cool... like our new Scout Trooper courtesy of Dr. Nick.



These are long range anti-infantry units.  While having little armor, and almost no offensive capability

against vehicles or enemy structures, they are EXTREMELY deadly against enemy infantry units and heros.

And here is what has been making me EXTREMELY busy for the last couple of months, the FOW Felucia map.



The premise of the map is that the defending base is quite close to the attacker entry possition. You could theoreticly attack the enemy base right away.  However the front of the base is EXTREMELY well defended and a full frontal attack would be suicide. Instead, youll want to sneak around behind the base and capture some more reinforcement points and attack them from behind.



Youll notice there is a lot of visual variety in the map.

I love the map too :) it looks exactly like TFU bespin :) but you need to put the units  that were on it there. please let me just try a demo of it?

Thanks :)  You might notice that the shield will beprojected onto that ring around the platform which looks quite cool

Also, I updated the unit list.  You will notice that space is completely done along with the scout trooper squad (thanks to Dr. Nick) We will have a real update soon with our Felucia Map and possibly a cool gameplay video ;)
