I think I've got the same problem. Playing as the New Republic and I managed to jump Isard with a big fleet. After blowing her SSD up the game said Thrawn was next. However, the Empire is steadily shrinking (they have 3 planets left) and no Thrawn. If I can't kill him then I'm kinda stuck at Era 2 which isn't the most exciting for the NR. I've tried waiting it out but I think it's been over 80 weeks. Is my campaign boned?

That wouldn't fix the underlying issue. If certain events cause the script controlling it to crash, it'll stay down for the rest of the game. It's not guaranteed to happen every time, it depends on the specific way every preceding event fires.

I fixed that bug by reinstalling the game.

There was a bug in eckhartsladder stream where palpatine never spawned when era 3 happened (He didnt do the research instead sucided thrawn and after a while era 3 began but without palpatine) everything else was as normal, cant say this is related

Got the message at 161. I have 60 weeks till he arrives. So roughly 221/222. Man it is hard assaulting Hyper Velocity Gun planets without an SSD.

It is week 159 and I got Thrawn to spawn by purchasing him. I will report to whether Palpatine's clone will spawn. Haven't gotten one of those messages yet. But I just bought Thrawn so it might take a minute before the script starts back up.

That wouldn't be it- the game doesn't really know that Thrawn for the EotH and Thrawn for the IR are the same thing, and the EotH one doesn't get involved in the LUA script anyways. It's always a bit tricky to track down where exactly the script went wrong, because generally the bit that didn't work is fine, it's the last thing that seemed to work that would have brought it down at some point.

Now into week 151/152, still no Thrawn spawn. I suppose when I get to week 170/171 I might purchase him. But I want to give him enough time to spawn. May be important to note that EotH only has 2 planets and I killed Thrawn in a battle very early on (week 20/21ish). Hopefully that has not bugged out the script. The PA just walked all over them and EotH ticked me off taking Bilbringi from me. So I sent multiple fleets to take out their heroes. Why they opened a second front to the PA I won't understand.

Playing Art of War GC as Empire, CD version. At week 80/81 Isard spawned. A message later appeared after that from Thrawn giving me 60 weeks till he appears from wondering around out in the Galaxy. It is now week 143/144 and Thrawn has not spawned yet. Just curious if he does, is the script broke? Is this one of the features us lowly CD owners have to do without? I could pay for him, but I like the idea that it happens automatically.


*Note: Lowly CD owners is not a swipe at the mod team, but the gam's dev team. Not that they read anyways.
