If anyone doing Voice lines for units could do them in a suitably 'alien' tone, that would work well as well. Ordering a T3-B to attack, only to hear a wookie roar in assent, would be rather cool :)

Also, different accents if possible - The Empire would make sense to be homogenous, whereas the NR is supposed to rather less... unified.

hmm, xeno troops could be not buyable but appear in additional buildings or cities (like in rebel trooper training center). furthermore, we already have calamari and bothan in the game. I think, that just create something similar shouldn't be very difficult.

Delta was working on some alien troopers to represent the variety of species in the NR for a sub mod we were working on, but due to schedules the project is currently shelved.

Yeah it certainly would take time and resources to make a bunch of new models and mechanics but it would still be awesome tho thanks for the answer

While it's certainly something we would like to do when we have a chance, the reason is pretty simple- resources. Art resources, especially, are not unlimited, and there's never enough to do everything we might like, so we have to prioritize.

I mean the new republic was a pretty diversified goverment thanks to all the races that banded together during the civil war yet in the mod only human soldiers fight when in legends all of them fought together, I think it would be cool to have different units like wookiee soldiers, twi'lek troops etc... that the big difference between the republic and the empire is that the republic fights as a union of all kind of people and not just one.
