You can play .95 as the New Republic or Imperial Remnant right now.  Sins of a Solar Empire doesn't support ground battles, so no to the second - Empire at War is the game with those.  In Sins, planets are conquered by space bombardment or by culture spread.

Hello, does anyone think Ascendancy will be ready in the near future? I saw the screenshots and I am really eager to give it a try.

One more quick off topic question if it's okay; Is there going to be ground battles in this game?

If not, how do we capture planets after we win the space battle? Or is that all there is to it?

Thanks!

Rob
