http://www.petroglyphgames.com/forums/index.php?/topic/14983-water-shader-sliders-issue/

Read through that thread, I had the same issue on my last PC and to a lesser extent on this one. Just edit the graphics XML manually.

Oh.. By any chance is there a way to force shaders? On accident I have gotten everything on high from not editing default settings, but obviously my integrated isn't hauling that much power. But it did handle well, just not to the extent I prefer.

Never woulda guessed it was the shaders, I've only seen this like on 3 different textures.

Yeah, that's definitely because of low shader detail. If you have low shader detail, it gives you low texture detail. With low texture detail, it's basically using auto-generated low-res versions of the actual texture, and considering that the statue and the asteroids are mostly white in the first place when it's downgraded that much they lose any detail. The fact that it's been across multiple installations and computers only supports that; if it was a missing texture, either everyone would be missing it (which they aren't) or you managed to get the same corrupted file twice.

Before I upgraded last year, I was forced to use an integrated graphics chip, so I'm pretty familiar with these particular asteroids and their texture levels.

Here. This is from the land battle at Naboo, not the skirmish one.

Here is from the main menu of the mod itself.

Now remember, Its ALWAYS been this way, through new installs, two computers, redownloads of the mod etc.

Just 1 texture though?

And always the same texture for the original..

And I try too but the damn thing comes out completely white.

Shader detail level would affect texture detail and everything else; without shader detail, there's no texture detail. Can you take a screenshot?

Everything is on high except the shaders and water effects, as I am unable to change those.

I know its suppose to be neon green, but they are completely white, and on the original unmodded on naboo those statues that are like heads or whatever also have a completely white texture.

Even when I zoom in on them.

What detail level are you playing at? At lower levels they can appear to be white blobs, but something being textureless in EaW typically means they're neon green.

But they are literally without a texture, it isn't some icey or white texture, I mean the model flat out has none.

If it's just the main menu asteroids showing up as white, the're working as intended; the map for the main menu is supposed to be an ice field, so those are basically ice balls.

So, Fresh install of the Gold Edition, Fresh download of the installer for 2.1 and when I got to the main menu, the asteroids are completely white, like theres no textures on them.

I do know in the original FOC without mods, on Naboo theirs this one stone statue that's also a white model and no matter how many times I reinstalled, it stayed that way.

I can't seem to take a screenshot since it comes out white, but I think you get the gist.

Anyone know how I can fix this?
