Weirdest thing. Galactic overview smoothed out when NR fleet commanders were shown on the map. As soon as my probes intelligence report expired, and the fleet commanders vanished again, it started getting choppy. I finished the SH scenario, after hunting down and killing (in total) 837 fleet commanders. I guess those guys were the culprit....

Shadow Hand GC of this mod. I don't know if units on the galactic map have anything to do with it, but the NR has a buttload of fleet commanders. I think one planet has 500+ in orbit.

Art of War Lite doesn't bog down, but Shadow Hand...yikes

Lately when viewing the galaxy map overview, my computer bogs down badly. Like watching a movie in slow motion or something. Space/land battles go fine, with the exception of land maps that have rain. I've gone min graphics, lowered resolution, etc. Nothing worked. I also made sure there were no background programs running. Like I said, this has just started to recently happen. Ideas?


p.s. I know it probably would have been better to ask on lucasarts or Petroglyph forums, but LA forums have no search function (have to literally go through every freaking page) and Petroglyph forums seem somewhat inactive.
