Everything has been going great for the past few weeks and I've been trying out the different factions. I know there are still a few issues, like the Eclipse and Sovereign SSDs causing the game to crash (that happened to me) but otherwise it was generally going great...
And then my game crashed a few days ago while playing as the Imperial Remnant and now the game is unplayable. It stutters, it lags. The galactic map is slow but bearable but I can't play a battle. I tried loading other games on Steam and now get memory error messages - what the heck happened?
I am on Windows 10, PC and using a solid state drive, have 16 GB of RAM and a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.59 Ghz. I generally play on Known Galaxy, Small/Medium sized GCs. I've scanned my PC; no virus's, OS is up to date, computer just went through a defrag and everything seems fine. Did a setting somehow get reset? Any ideas?
If someone who is far more IT literate then me out there has any ideas, it'd be a huge help!
