Also, you can ignore what you read on Wookiepedia about the Ruling Council in Crimson Empire and the Emperor's Ruling Council. As you can see from the lack of citations in the Wook's article on the two groups, there were no known sources in Legends canon that linked the two together.

Most of the stuff on the ERC on the wook is from an old fan fic published by a guy who called himself Publius.

It was good speculation but not canon.

Ars was not part of the Ruling Council in CE which was different from the Emperor's Ruling Council. The Ruling Council in Crimson Empire is a different entity.

Ars, presumably, died on Byss when the galaxy gun blew it up.

Ars would indeed make sense in Thrawn's era since they were the technical rulers of the Empire at that time even though Thrawn was Emperor in all but name. The Emperor's Ruling Council managed the bureaucratic concerns of the empire while Thrawn led its military and had final say on any matters important enough to come to his attention.

Presumably, once Palpatine was firmly in control of the Empire at the end of Dark Empire,(which by the end of the comic he was: Dodonna towards the end of Dark Empire declares that the Navy has once again reaffirmed allegiance to the Emperor) the Emperor's Ruling Council reaffirmed loyalty and would have transferred to Byss to serve him(where real Pestage already was). There they would have all died.

The Ruling Council in Crimson Empire is a whole different affair was created to fill the vacuum left by the Emperor and ERC and consisted of those who backed Jax.

The Crimson Empire already has 3 heroes with economic bonuses.

What do you think about adding Ars Dangor, the imperial advisor, as an economic hero under Thrawn.

He'd make more sense in the Crimson Empire arc where he was part of the Imperial Ruling Council of Blood under Jax.

Might make more sense under Isard, Ars Dangor IIRC did not make it into any novels but was a tagline in the WEG D6 RPG books.
