That isn't something we can do anything about. If you look at the actual list, there's 8 in it: Annihilator, Guardian, Enforcer, Intimidator, Razor's Kiss, Terror, Vengeance and Second Death. The problem is that the game only reads those names sequentially. I've never tried to figure out the *exact* mechanism it uses, but it seems like it just grabs the name right after any existing ones currently in battle, though sometimes it even uses the same one simultaneously. It's a really dumb system.

The IR built 3 SSDs in all (2 Executors and a Sovereign, all of which were named Annihilator)

The SSD name list really needs some expansion.  I've hardly ever seen an SSD that WASN'T named Annihilator, which approached pure silliness when I killed three Annihilators in one battle.

While it would make no sense to have since it's still inferior to the Defender in every way, and it was massively uncommon, and it's not all that incredible when compared to anythign other than basic unshielded Tie/LN and Tie/IN, you could do the V-38 instead of the Phantom (the fighter the Phantom was based on, but no cloak).

The TIE Phantom only existed around 3ABY and couldn't be made by the time the mod takes place. The project was created by a Grand Admiral, who destroyed Aeten II to get the stuff he needed to make the cloaking devices. Pretty quickly after that the Rebels just destroyed the facility and every prototype plus the schematics themselves were destroyed.

and the Grand Admiral who created them was assassinated shortly thereafter.

I would like to see some other unit abilities on empire of the hand units, especially one of their capital ships, as every other faction has a large shipyard only vessel that has an ability; tractor beams on star destroyers, and power to shields on moncal cruisers.  I could have sworn that in a previous patch some of the EoTH ships had power to shields but ever since I patched to 2.1 that seems to be gone.  maybe a sensor ping ability or something, since that seems like it would fit Thrawns style and wouldn't add a lot of combat power, personally I'd like to see it on the Ascendancy Class.  I would also really like to see some sort of EoTH Ion cannon or HV gun equivalent, since even with the Visvia, space defense on the EoTH seems hard pressed to take out attacking super ships without taking obscene losses.

Also any chance of the Tie phantom?  I know its silly but I always liked that ship and I was pretty sure it was in the unmodded game.

I those two were Executor class varients

It was never stated, only that they were Dreadnoughts.

While moar SSDs is never a bad thing visually, it would be a bad thing gameplay-wise. However, if the Orinda Campaign were to ever be made, I wouldn't mind seeing the Dominion and Megador being Assertor and Bellator respectively.

That's exactly how I pictured them.

That would be cool.  Not sure if the team would feel like making the models for such a limited usage, however, even assuming they decided they wanted to do Orinda...

There are (too) many cool Dreadnoughts/Superstar Destroyers in the Star Wars Universe

And yes as a result there are some redundancies
but in a/the mod you could, somewhat, dial that done by limiting the max. units
and/or being able to build them only on certain planets
e.g. you can't build a Executor on Mon Calamari
(and making them expensive and only buildable in certain era's)

(just a thought, do i get a penny now? ^^)

My point: They would look cool ingame and i would like to see them ^^

I do agree the Assertor looks boss.
Id like to see a custom battle you could play to relive the showdown between Grand Admirals Grunger and Pitta over Corellia.

Wouldn't those two ships merely be slightly more powerful than the Praetor II in the mod now? What role would they fill that is not already covered by the Praetor, Executor,Sovereign or Eclipse?  Yes they look cool, but many ships fall into that category.

Yes, the Assertor would be more of a slightly shorter Executor and the Bellator a slightly more powerful Preator II.  But yes, they'd be utterly redundant and unnecessary.  And they were never seen in any of the books, so they'd make no sense.  But I chose something that I would enjoy that isn't in the mod.  And I think the Assertor is the 2nd best looking of the Dreadnoughts (after the Sovereign and just barely ahead of the Vengeance).

Bellator would be nice too.
