Just kidding since you said you'd not have land battles and could focus on one aspect of gameplay(meaning space battles I presume) I jokingly suggested making Ascendancy solely diplomacy based gameplay with no fighting lol. I look forward to seeing Ascendancy when I get some free time...in about 11 months due to the Army.
Again Gentlemen it's been an honor and an interesting journey playing and contributing to Thrawn's Revenge.

It's 100% diplomacy oriented game play! Can you handle the hot negotiating action? Bargain with Hutts, sneak policies with Bothans, pretend to care about Alderaan for the refugees, Preach the virtues of democracy to the Imperial Remnant and achieve a Peace for our time between your government and the Dushkan league!

Just because something was called a frigate in Sins doesn't mean it'd be a frigate in SW. And just because it's called colonizing in Sins doesn't mean we'd call it colonizing in Ascendancy.

So Titans are the SSD's makes sense and so in SoSE:R can you add more ships then EaW:FoC like in sub categories?

We're not adding in anywhere near the same amount of units as we did for ICW. F

Assuming you mean SSDs by Dreadnaughts, then yeah Sins handles them much better. Superweapons in general work a lot better.

Since sins of a solar empire allows for better path-finding for star dreadnought would you consider of adding maybe more and different SSD for the empire (remnant, aliment, warlords so on ...) factions and possibly similar dreadnought sized ships for the other factions? Also would you add heroes for the factions?

I would ask that you guys not give the Star Dreadnaughts ridiculous AoE like the Titans in Rebellion :p But other than that I eagerly look forward to seeing how this plays out. Been playing Sins solely because of this forum, and I really like it.

Aw, I liked land battles. Then again, the vanilla game doesn't even have them so it would probably be impossible to mod them in. Oh well.
