The only reason to bomb Dresden was it's communication contacts. But all of those could have been destroyed without bombing the city.
And Scarecrow63 makes good point. History is always winner's history. You can't just accept is as the absolute truth.
And Pellaeon if you had to stop Hitler, then why did you kill more civilians with your bombings than soldiers? what had the civilians done to you? Hell Luftwaffe bombed britan airbsases and military installations.
