The Pentastar Aligment will lose Kaine in GCs that start after Era III. Kaine dies in the Operation Shadow Hand GC as an Imperial Remnant hero. Era Progression GCs the Alignment will have Kaine.

There can only be story scripts for the main 3 factions in EaW. Pretty much everything can be done for the other factions through other means, except locking and unlocking units. Kaine does not leave the PA when era 3 hits, he also doesn't spawn for the IR.

Question--

This isn't related to the new version of ICW 2.2, but the old 2.1 version.

I've noticed in the XML files for the Art of War campaign that there are only story plots for Rebel, Empire and Underworld. Perhaps this is a part of the game engine that only allows for three factions to have story plots. So my question is... if I'm playing as the Pentastar Alignment, and I enter Era 3, what happens to Kaine? Will the unit simply disappear now that he's fighting for the Emperor? Or will there be two Kaines in the game?

Just curious...
