Yeah, it seems like most of the committee  stories are poorly written and/or thought out.  This saddens me greatly because of the sheer amount of potential involved in characters and storyline.

Also it does say on Takel's wooliepedia page that Isard threatened to execute him for his second failure against Grunger and refused to allocate further resources to him. So he threw in with Trioculus

Wouldn't make any sense. The facility, schematics and all phantom prototypes were destroyed along with the stygium crystals for their cloaking.

Then there's the whole crew murdering him pretty much right after the incident, pretty sure it was less than a couple months after Endor and his crew joined Harrsk.

Oh, duh. I feel rather silly now...

Interesting. Source? I don't see any mention of it on Wookiepedia.

Also after some checking it seems Takel maintained his ship but nothing else, Isard and the Central command refused to allocate more resources to him to try and beat Grunger, so he threw in with the Grand Moffs constantly trying to turn them on Grunger. So you'd be right letting him have Magic Dragon for the sub mod(it's unclear why he didn't remain on it though and instead stuck with the Grand Moff council on their Strike Cruiser until Trioculous murdered him at a meeting)

Thought on Batch: What if he was something similar to Eldrood, but for the PA. His base of operations was just across the border from the PA, iirc. Would be fun for the Alignment to have TIE Phantoms. :D

Many of the Grand Admirals will be present in one way or another- when we do the faction overviews or listing factions, we're only talking about the major or playable ones, there's plenty of smaller ones floating around, some of which are the forces of the Grand Admirals who broke away and are on the map in that form (ala the Antemeridian Sector in HfZ). Because most of them were killed off pretty early, though, we're still in a time where some Imperial subfactions are a bit more fluid and less clear-cut than later on.

Eitherwho, to quickly give a rundown of all the ones who aren't Thrawn, in no particular order. Some of this may end up being 2.3 stuff, though:

1. Zaarin - Dead.
2. Makati - Imperial hero starting in control of Imperial forces in Corporate Sector until Zsinj takes it over.
3. Takel - Included with Central Committee forces, though that may be part of the greater Remnant in general (it's hard to say whether it was more of a movement within the greater Empire as led by the Ruling Council, or truly separate).
4. Pitta - Corellian Sector splinter faction.
5. Grunger -Splinter faction at Gargon.
6. Batch - Considering how quickly his crew killed him, we'll likely just consider him dead at the start.
7. Declann - Died at Endor.
8. Ishin-Il-Raz - Did a bunch of nothing for a few months then killed himself, so nowhere to really put him.
9. Syn - Recruitable by Maldrood.
10. Teshik - Executed after Endor.
11. Tigellinus - Same as Takel.
12. Grant - PA hero.

Trying to find this reference right now.  Haven't happened across it yet.  It has bearing for the submod concept I am working on so if you happen across this quote can you please relay it to my submod thread?

I will as soon as I get back in three days. Internet is sketchy at best here in Fort Irwin.

No it was stripped from his command after his second failure against Grunger by Isard and the Ruling Council. Fearing he'd be killed or severely punished for losing most of the fleet given him by Isard and Imp Center in his failed campaign he threw in his lot with the Grand Moffs as a military advisor since he had no forces left to himself.

Sweet. We have the Central Committee now?

Interesting. Source? I don't see any mention of it on Wookiepedia.

If I remember it was in an article on him or on Trioculos that mentioned why Takel hooked up with him because he was stripped of resources and feared punishment, I'll have to go back and double tap(in desert training with army atm)

Takel still had his flagship, the Magic Dragon, if memory servers.
