I would love to play Ascendancy with someone too, but I'm still new to the game, and haven't really played a lot of it, and haven't played basic Sins at all. I would rather batter AI alongside someone, though, cause I would fail miserably in PvP, that's for sure. So I guess I'm a similar type of Ascendancy player to you, GreyStarWell minus the lack of NR playing we're in the exact same boat. Never bothered with Base Sins I got this game for Ascendancy.I don't play as the NR though. And I don't have steam, but I can do Tunngle or any similar program, works just as well.
My Computer is older so it might lag sometimes and also I only have one or two of the DLC'sSame. Though doesn't match making exist through stardock?
