And agreed about Kaine...He really doesn't scream Warlord to me.

true enough, he never expanded, didn't attack any of the other warlords or mainstream Empire but traded with them all while keeping his official title of Grand Moff. Rather than a Warlord he's more like a government official who just became autonomous while maintaining all the original aspects of his position minus listening to Coruscant

Going with Zsinj. There's a lot to be said when the reason his faction got wiped is that both NR and IR opt to work together before he really did some damage with his vast resources. The other Warlords tend to sound more like tough to take out scrubs the NR kinda go meh about they face them off at times than a serious threat with their biggest disadvantage is an inability to really work together in the long term.

Zsinj FTW!
And I outright agree with miller too. I don't consider Kaine a warlord either

For me it's Warlord Zsinj easily. He popularized the term Warlord with his legitimate title and became enough of a threat that the NR and IR set aside differences to combat him. His subversive assassin network, hidden support system and individual style sets him far apart. He created his own tech and special forces worked with cloaking and was only killed due to nightmarishly bad luck outside his control.

Second place goes to Delvardus. For tenacity, never say die attitude. The Night Hammer idea and managing to be the only Warlord clever enough to disguise a weapon as vanity medals.

That's a tough one. I agree with miller that I don't consider Kaine to actually be a Warlord. Zsinj is probably the greatest IMO, then Devardus and Harrsk (Delvardus recouped from a tactical dunce and had the potential to come out ahead had Night Hammer been completed; Harrsk was the most popular among the Imperial worlds left over post-Clone Palps and could have made a play for dominance), and finally the Teradoc brothers.

I went with Delvardus because I really don't consider Kaine to be a Warlord.  When the empire fell, he created a legitimate government that was designed to outlast any one individual (and did), not just a warlord that tried to sequester as much power as he could.  He was a true leader.  So I refuse to consider him a warlord.  Delvardus is, IMO, the most "human" of the warlords in many ways, so I like him most.
