Another series I haven't "played", I think I played the first one at a cousin's house a long time ago but I haven't touched it since.
Then of course don't forget the Starcraft series.
The Total War games are quite good (most). It feels nice.Yeah I do enjoy the total war series, I could never get into Europa I need to get a better grasp on it mechanics, and stellaris is the weakest of the three. Hearts of Iron 4 is super fun once you learn the game I tried getting into Hearts of iron 3 but I didn't have the time to learn it. So I'll probably play it this summer
If you are into micro-management I recommend Europa Universalis IV, Hearts of Iron IV, or stellaris if you want to stay space(though Stellaris is the weakest if you ask me).
If you are willing to try older games as well Warcraft 3
C&C 3 Tiberium wars and the Kane's wrath expansion are also very good.
The Civilisation series is quite good as well.
What else...
Oh, I almost forgot the old Age of Empires series and the Empire Earth series.
Let's just say, I am a big Strategy game fan.
And I am sure quite a few good ones skip my mind at the moment.
Edit: I knew it. Heroes of Might and Magic. 3-5 are the best ones of the series
