I think a merging of teams is unrealistic for anything such as this, at least currently. Though co-operation would be cool.

I always thought of it as if you guys ever brought your ships to stellaris then we could ask to use them in our mod. The plan is to make the mod modular as it is, so that people can choose to go full star wars or just take bits and pieces from star wars. :D

Again anything you guys do, if you do end up doing any, for stellaris would be awesome. If you do then I can't wait to see what you guys do.

We have a couple of modelers on the team but we are primary focusing on earlier star wars ships, KOTOR era, right now. Eventually we plan on adding in more and more ships until we ecompass all the eras, one day XD

Co-operation is all well and good, however while I wish them the best merging two teams to make one mod is usually not a good idea, not to mention the whole thing where we're not making a Stellaris mod.

Hey, I am dskod1 from paradox forums, currently leading the pre-development star wars mod for stellaris, called SFFA (Stellaris far far away).

I just wanted to say that if anyone from this mod started there own stellaris star wars mod, I would be pretty amped to see the results XD.

I have been a fan of this modding team since empire at war, and love the dedication they bring to the table. I only hope that my team and I can meet at least half that sort of love with our mod.
Why not make a cooperation instead? Corey will have more free time, you will get some experienced people to help with the post Endor era, maybe if the team says yes then a ton of custom ships with stats made by them so scratch that off the list, yada yada...
I think it would be a win-win cooperation

Nothing better than a full time job that costs you money.

You guys really don't like it when I have free time, do you?
We love it when you have free time. Because we know that if you have free time, you like to do some modding. And if you are modding everyone is happy. :D

It is a different game, but one I think a good majority of these mods playerbases would like. It has quite the political and technological options, as well as being able to have battles although they're simulated based off many variables.

Stellaris is a very different type of game to either EAW or SoaSE; it's much larger in scope (in terms of the whole "grand strategy" civilization building thing) and I don't think it even has player control over battling ships!  I also know there's already a very interesting Star Wars mod in development - someone even posted an Ascendancy screenshot as inspiration for their art content!

Also, if they're still together, after they're done Ascendency.  The team simply isn't large enough to do multiple full mods at once (ICW isn't really a full mod anymore since it's just tweaks and improved models).

I'd certainly love the team to take a crack at it, but I'm happy with them focusing their efforts on ICW and Ascendancy.  Maybe a year or two from now it'd be worth doing, once the inevitable patches and dlcs have started flowing.

Hey guys, curious about what your thoughts would be for a Thrawns Revenge mod for Stellaris, it isn't out yet but long story short it's supposed to be like Europa Universalis 4 / Crusader Kings 2 in space, and with those games comes easy mods and that sort of fun, and I believe it could accurately represent the political issues going on in Star Wars after the death of the Emperor. My only concern being that depending on how it's set up, the major factions could easily dominate smaller factions, otherwise it sounds like a great idea to work on.

What do you think?
