As to the Vengeance I think it's better as it is now. Sure the PA starts with two SSDs but it can't replace them either so I think that balances out.
Uh, Xizer. .. I think I written out that the Vengeance would go to Sysco. It would be a hero, but a recruitable one. Like Vader with the Executor in FoC. So it would still be pretty unreplaceable, it would just delay it's arrival so the pa does not start OP...
With the Vengeance, I agree that it being not replaceable balances it, but I also agree that it would be nice if Jerec were to be split off and be a land hero only, and the Vengeance would instead be tied to Sysco.  This is advantageous in 2 ways.  1, it brings in another hero to a faction that has a distinct lack of them, and 2, it does allow the AI to better use both Jerec and the Vengeance.
I think you sir, are sharing my intentions :D I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing it this way :)
Lucrehulks in particular and the CSA as a whole are being treated as part of Zsinj's Empire, since that's what they were. The PA will no longer be able to capture their planets/build their stuff.
Fair is fair. PA will ger Secutor any way, so I don't see any reason to have Lucrehulks too so yeah. Better this way.
That would be true, Xizer, if the PA still didn't have access to their own buildable SSDs, but the Bellator changes that. The two irreplaceable SSDs was a decent trade-off to start with, however the PA ended up in this position where it ended up being much easier for (especially experienced) players to play, which you can see by looking at the GC ratings we've been asking for on both the forums and ModDB. Making the Vengeance buildable was another part of that which I already wanted to do, but I hadn't actually heard of Sysco before, and I like the idea of splitting it into Jerec as a base hero and Sysco/Vengeance as a recruitable one.
In this case I am happy that I brought this up. Finaly one of my suggestions will most possibly become a thing  ;D
I have a general idea for how I want to handle this without either gimping them hero-wise or resorting to a b-team roster, which I'll get into later (I'm only 90% sure it'll work how I want it to). In any particular GC where the Warlord faction in question is non-present, the Remnant will keep them as usual (ie, if the PA weren't in Art of War then Kaine would be a normal era 3 hero for the Remnant, to use an example that will never happen). I think it works better as a way to represent all these Imperial groups as incestuous little opportunistic fractures of a formerly-greater whole.
Wow... sounds really great. I can't wait to hear more.

Lucrehulks

Lucrehulks in particular and the CSA as a whole are being treated as part of Zsinj's Empire, since that's what they were. The PA will no longer be able to capture their planets/build their stuff.

Vengeance

Remnant/Warlord heroes

I have a general idea for how I want to handle this without either gimping them hero-wise or resorting to a b-team roster, which I'll get into later (I'm only 90% sure it'll work how I want it to). In any particular GC where the Warlord faction in question is non-present, the Remnant will keep them as usual (ie, if the PA weren't in Art of War then Kaine would be a normal era 3 hero for the Remnant, to use an example that will never happen). I really could care less about the Lucrehulks myself.  Sad to say, in ICW I consider them less than useless for their population cost.

Will be interesting to see what happens with the multi-era conquests and duplication of heroes.  Hopefully something can be figured out that doesn't entail the heroes disappearing from their original roster like happens now with the PA & Kaine, since they don't get further heroes to replace them.

Well I imagine the PA will be able to recruit the Lucrehulks if they take the CS planets.

As to the Vengeance I think it's better as it is now. Sure the PA starts with two SSDs but it can't replace them either so I think that balances out.

As to the IR hero list in era 3, it's true they lose Kaine, Delvardus, Teradoc and Veers but they could get that admiral from Dark Empire as a hero in an Allegiance class, the Dark Side Elite to make up for that.
They aren't really handicapped by losing the Warlord heroes since they have SSDs galore already and would still have Palps, Sedriss, Harrsk and Pellaeon

I am curious about the future of the Lucrehulks in the first place. I know Zsinj will get them since CS was within his holdings, but does that mean PA will loose it?

Second in my list is the Vengeance. Since EaW does not handle the both space and ground hero at the same time idea, It might be best to separate Jerec and the Vengeance and give the ship to Captain Sysco. Since PA starts pretty strong with 2 SSD under it's command and having a relatively good starting position, I also say that the Vengeance to become "recruitable" where you would have to pay a huge amount of credit for it(even compared to other SSDs) but having an instabuild. So to speak you "fund" it to operate within the Alignment, but requires Jerec to be present in order to represent that it is his ship after all. This way even the AI would be able to use it properly.

The third and the most burning one in my opinion the remnant Hero rooster.
Since the Warlords will have their own factions, the IR will lose most of it's Era 3 heroes in the multi era GCs. In shadow hand it can stay as it is now since they seemingly worked together at the time, but in a multi Era GC it could bring troubles, like Teradoc and Delvardus being in two places at once.
Teren Rogriss could be one of the Candidates who could join the IR ranks, since he was with the remnant until at least 13 ABY, and he and the Agonizer are already in game in the Zsinj GCs.
