If it still happens after that, make sure you have a paging file, or decrease your settings to High instead of highest. Sins is a 32 bit application, so no matter how good your computer is it will only have access to 2 gigs of RAM, which LAA expands.

I'm running everything on max settings, so I was thinking that might be it, but it's never been a problem with vanilla sins. My system is kind of OP, 64 gigs of ram, and two GeForce GTX TITAN cards sli...
