Because sidious have no real opponent who have this level of mastering the force (not even star killer who is just repped when sidious see that's not able to convert him !!!)
However, ligthnings are not the only way to attack , it's just his standard attack.

Oh I know it's not the ONLY way to attack, just that is the only attack he used in Return of the Jedi.
His Force Storms levels cities and destroyed space fleets, he blanked the minds of millions of people to hide the burying of Lusankya on Imperial Center, he was able to hold the Empire together through his WILLPOWER, he used Sith Sorcery and alchemy to make mecha rancors and mutants as well as directly powering others in Dark Empire. While he is an exception to the rule he is one HELL of an exception!

That's not just a boomerang thing that's a martial art based on the force ! Not just a technic !!!! And like sidious or Vitiate they are only 2 or 4 to use a such high devlopped skill at ligth saber thrwoing....

Well technically Sidious did later on, he just kept the lightsaber as kind of both mocking the jedi and as a failsaf. In Dark Empire series he uses the Force way more than his saber. Then in RotJ he uses ONLY Force LLightning

I read a lot of things... cannon etc.. SO ALL WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO ME I ALREADY KNOW. I have written 5 page to describe the Revan ligth saber technic, based on his story that's not hey is using soresu and ataru... No From canon and also fand made reboots (because you just cannot follow the canons wirtten by 4 different hands for those dtailed, I take reboots with logics thinking etc.. All safe...) And I also try to describe his force combat technics I know nothi,ng about itr but it's like soresu... In the Idea is to use ennemy power to take down him (favorite revan tactics using the power of his oppenant against him...) It's a tank with big force shield absortion, he have a lot's of reflecting power, boost powers... But He had also great force attack power (able to take down a rancor army with force ligthning...) if you read my line I supposed that's Revan have learned ancient sith lith saber technic from the dark concil after his forst encounter with vitiate (after the great 100 years of war there is 1 000 years of separation betewwen jedi and sith I suppose during this time the sith council is devlopping is own techniques and that's where the form VII came from... we don't have cannon information but canons are so fucking illogic about this...)
Ataru and soresus were the first combat techniques of revan when he was Jedi.... As a sith teacher he use is premonitions to see more modern combats techniques (To explain why Jedi and sith are using the same techniques in SWtOR a big freekin illogism....) is spy send to convert jedi in the dark side brogth form VII to the order. And I think as Revan reborn he rework his techniques to adepts them to his own philosophy (form VII is based on sith philosophy Like soresu or niman are based on Jedi philosophy...) I won't details on the characteristics speed precesion tactics used in each situations etc.. It will take too long.

WHy I'm telling this.. That's mean if we can find Revan force wafare techniques we are able to rebuild true isth fogthing techniques wich in my opinion should be verybery devlopped.

You're hard to understand, so I'm not sure what you're asking. Nearly all Force-users use their powers in combat, Force use is integral to all lightsaber forms, and there are plenty of examples of Force powers being used in the middle of lightsaber combat by Jedi and non-Jedi, so...

If your complaint is that the movies don't have it, well, take it up with Lucas. The EU has it plenty.

By my understanding, the canonical reason Jedi don't attack much through the Force is that to use the Force while feeling aggression or anger risks using the dark side, much moreso if those feelings are specifically directed at a person. Force push is generally depicted as an energy wave thrown in a direction rather than at a specific target, as well as usually being used by Jedi to disable or distract rather than to harm or kill. Force lightning, by comparison, is almost only capable of harming or killing, as well as being more specifically targeted. Probably not.

Strengthening the body, by comparison, is easily made to work under a defensive mindset. It all comes down to Yoda's maxim: a Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, not to attack.

They just use force in self boosting... Exept for niman user (but niman suck) why Jedi aren't using force power combat style? Is there only revan who devlopp high techniques in force dueling? Gnégné be faire use the force directly on your oppenent in extreme urgency situation only... Etc It less demanding O.K... Using force power is very exhausting... (That's why devlopped a soresu style, block and deflect evrything.....)
