I've personally modified current TR 2.15 Art of War campaign by adding some 30 planets from another campaigns (Thrawn, Palpatine, Daala, Imp Civil War) and adding/adjusting trade lines. Hapes and Dushkans are out of play, still, but I don't see it as a disadvantage.
More warlords to beat, mmore planets to see and conquer... my plan is to - as the Empire:
1. build solid foundations as Isard,
2. make short and swift attack run as Thrawn
3. sweep all the galaxy and brong order to all of it as Emperor reborn - no more Eras will be i play :P

well, with the optimalizations of 2.2, and the defreezer even the old Art of War should work like a charm :)

Well again, the old Art of war was the same size, so it would have worked fine even without the defreezer.

From my experience using it for Phoenix Rising multiple times it works like a charm. I can't say for a full GC but I've had to use it about 4-6 times with that mod. I imagine you should be good to go in Thrawn's since it runs better for more people.

I've never managed to need to use it twice.

With that many planets, it's not just the freeze that needs to be taken into consideration, there's also planet spacing; the planets that arre unique to certain GCs would overlap with planets in other GCs and make it extremely difficult to select and move to a bunch of them. It's not like the old Art of War was actually that much bigger than the current Art of War/Imperial Civil War, they're actually within 10 planets of each other IIRC. All three are in the 90-100 planet range and just as stupidly big as the original.

We've received almost no actual feedback on how well the defreezer works as a long-term solution (once it has to be used multiple times), so whether or not that aspect has been addressed is still a question mark as well.

I remember a while back, there was a campaign called "Art of War", which had a stupidly large amount of planets and was basically a MASSIVE galactic conquest.  I was looking at the different scenarios, and the 5 Era campaigns each have some unique planets.  For example, the Chiss planets are in the campaign where EotH is playable, and in the Imperial Civil War campaign, there are more deep core planets and warlords and whatnot.  I was thinking, what about one massive campaign?  EotH in the corner, all the deep core planets, Hapes Cluster, Duskhan League planets, everything, stuffed into one big campaign.  Thoughts?

Now that they have the defreezer, I can see someone doing it.  Before, the freeze would have prevented it from ever working.
