1) The book Zahn apparently already wrote (but remains unpublished) about how Fel ended up with the Chiss.
2) More stories (probably Zahn again) about the Chiss Ascendancy/Thrawn/early days of the Empire of the Hand.
3) More Mara Jade.
4) Other awesome stuff that I haven't thought of yet but doesn't include continuing the timeline beyond the FotJ series. Probably the early years of the Rebellion and the period between RotS and ANH.

Definitely a two book series by Zahn about Pellaeon and the Orinda campaign!!
a comic series that followed Marek Steele after the events of TIE Fighter
Books on Thrawn's unknown regions campaigns!!!
Books on the Pentastar Alignment, Eraidu Authority, Zero Command and Greater Maldrood could be called Tales of the Warlords or Tales from a Fractured Empire detailing events of each of those splinter factions battles and characters.
A comic on the showdown at Corellia between Grand Admirals Grunger and Pitta!

Stories about the 181st would be good or something from the first years of the empire. And EotH and Chiss are always interesting.

Agreed.  Also I'd love to read more about Kaine.

What would be on your wishlist for Star Wars books?

Right now I can think of four "traditional" Star Wars books I would like to see.

1) A series chronicling the 181st (similar to the X-wing series) beginning from the arrival of Baron Fel.
2) A book set immediately after the destruction of Byss, showing how the Empire fragmented into the separate Warlords.
3) A book series about the Empire of the Hand.
4) A book (or two) about the Orinda Campaign.

In addition, I think an interesting novel series could be based on the Vong before they left their home galaxy. It would open up a whole new and original series to the Star Wars mythos, with brand new main characters that would in not be heavily related to the main characters of the Star Wars galaxy.
