Despite my opinions with Steam Support, I sent them a report on the subject. I'll let you guys know about it if an answer comes through so that if anyone else has this problem here you can

You sure about that? I wouldn't imagine something like this be solved from turning the security down, I'm gonna run Steam in admin mode, but I'm not sure that it will work.

Thanks for helping so far though.

You should check what your permissions are on your system, you may have to tone them down. Or run Steam in Admin mode.

Well is there anyway I could perhaps bypass it and still be able to play the game?

In that case it may be an issue with permissions/security settings, especially with the newer operating system.

Like imagine pasting the Mod path into the launch options, and entering it - just to reopen the thing again to find it blank, and do it again and again. It happens with everything else steam wise too so it has to be a steam issue. I can't find anything on it though, EXCEPT for a few similar cases popping up in the last few weeks of June.

Of course they were different but pertaining a similar area.

I came to you guys because I know Steam Support probably won't be any good in helping with this, and I thought maybe you guys might know a bit.

Yeah, I had it working previously a few months ago, I haven't played it since I got my new Computer though (I think?) and my comp is now Windows 8, but I don't understand how Steam's settings would be affected by something like that.

Is there perhaps a way to bypass it?

Have you ever gotten them to work before?

Hey everyone, so I'm gonna get straight to the point.

I can't play ICW simply because of an issue with the Steam Launch Options not working correctly - for some reason whenever I enter the correct launch code for the game to run, and click okay, it simply does not enter. This is also happening with other steam games, like Team Fortress 2, whenever I enter in the Launch Options.

Anyone know how I can fix this so I can get to one of the best mods currently out there?
