Thanks for the offer, but running the mod doesn't cost myself or the rest of the team anything. We're all volunteers and have all the tools we need, and the hosting is free from the SW Rebellion Network (I'm sure Evaders wouldn't complain if you were to donate to the network, though). As for the mod and the team, we're mostly university/college students and work on the side, so the major investment on our part is time, not money.
This may sound cliche but the best way to support the mod's development really is just to post suggestions, critiques, and to help spread the word, even if it's just voting in the MotY awards for example. We're not making the mods thinking we'll get famous or anything like that, but knowing there's people who actually care about what we're doing is a big motivator for us, and the more diverse feedback we get the better we're able to make the mod.
I just recently came upon this mod a few weeks ago and was hooked with the concept. Knowing that the team is hard at work developing the mod and it won't be out for some time makes me feel like helping out a bit. Is donation acceptance acceptable? I always support things I enjoy and I know many individuals have fees, hosting costs, and maintenance to pay for. Just didn't know if there was a place set up for people to donate money here and there towards development. Maybe through PayPal or some equivalent? Let me know as soon as you guys can.
