Today's endnotes give some Lucasfilm-approved stats for all those FractalSponge ships that have migrated into canon:
EDIT: Plus loads of other interesting infos about the Imperial military.

Nothing about the Praetor's power though.

The book is especially detailed about the Warlord campaigns, my personal favorite timeline.

Well, I only read where it was related to the mod, so I skipped a bunch of stuff. Firmus Nantz, Sien Sovv, the 5 main groups of Imperials, etc.

Has it? I've only properly read up to before the Invasion of Naboo so far.  Still a long way to go  :-\

It's also been much more clear about certain campaigns, the division of the Imperial Remnant and classes for hero's ships, as well as provided more information about the state of affairs directly after Endor assuming we choose to do a GC in that time period.

As far as implications for the mod, I think it basically just provided pictures for the Praetor-II and Endurance.

IMO, that's huge.  That Praetor is SEXY!!

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon and they delivered it by accident a day early.  :HA:

Overall I would say that it is a pretty good volume. I'm glad that they included the Orinda campaign, though I feel that we got a copy-paste of articles from the various other Guides, such as all the details about the weapons systems. In the Essential Guide to Warfare I was expecting more warfare and less technical data on lightsaber construction. I got the Orinda campaign, but I wanted ten more articles like it. The maps were well done and I thoroughly enjoyed the interview with Grand Admiral Teshik at the beginning.

I have it but haven't been able to read it yet since I am offshore. I do know the artist who did the picture of the Battle of Orinda between SSDs Reaper and Lusankya.

That was a nice picture.

My copy just arrived in the post today, and it sure looks pretty!  ;D

EDIT: Although i'm feeling slightly short-changed that, despite costing the same as the Essential Atlas (well, same RRP anyway), Warfare has fewer pages and each page is approx. 90cm2 (14in2) smaller. :P

EDIT2: And for anyone who has read/is reading through Warfare, take a look at Jason Fry's tumblr where he is slowly adding endnotes covering different sections of the book (at the time of posting there are endnotes for the first three chapters).

I was wondering if many of the team have read the new book with all the new ships in it and heroesand if any of it is going to be included in the mod? There was a much better picture of the Endurance for example, and a lot more information on things that needed it from before.
