Someone defined him as one in a book too. I think in the Hand of Thrawn Duology.

But I would still like to see the Maw have a special research thing, special weapons, and special space station or something to the effect of an advanced Golan.

a superweapon by the definition of the word itself is a weapon that is super (DUH!!!) i mean any weapon can be super dependent upon the others of its kind.  I think Thrawn was a superweapon cause all the other admirals could not match his tactical genius, and anything can be a weapon depending how they are used.  So i guess the IR has a couple superweapons

They can't destroy planets, though, so it doesn't count to me.

They don't have any, actually.
Well, I consider the Eclipse and the Sovereign to be superweapons.

Ok i agree that maybe the suncrusher maybe invulnerable and therefore not allowed to be in the game, but if you were to put it in it could be Kyp using under Exar Kun's influence (he was when he used it to destroy carida),Carida should be an asteroid field BTW from daalas era onward check the random event page after this i have an idea bout the suncrusher and carida...anyways Exar Kun was influencing Kyp cuz like Corey said he was a prick. But you could have it under the remnants control so that they destroy carida but then it get destroyed again or maybe not just an idea, remember check the random events page.

Yeah, they sent it into Yavin. It was then retrieved and used some more.

There's one main problem with the sun crusher (there are several other ones, but this is the important one); it was indestructable. It was only destroyed when it was flown into a black hole. Making it so a certain person has to be there to destroy it would make no sense. The Death Star was at least destroyable through a conventional method (hit it with a bomb in the right place), and it makes sense that only Luke could destroy it in EaW because he was really the only one in the game that would be able to aim that well. However, this does not translate at all to the Sun Crusher. It was only destroyed when Han convinced Kyp to stop being an annoying prick, and Kyp ejected himself and sent the Crusher into a black hole. Han could only do this because it was Kyp. He wouldn't be able to convince some random Imperial pilot to switch sides and risk his life to destroy his own ship.

So you would like to have the Sun Crusher as another Imperial supership (seeing as you suggested that Han could destroy it)?  A ~15m long, near invulnerable starfighter that can also destroy star systems?  That isn't really balanced.  Besides, it was only ever flown by Han or Kyp Durron, both aligned with the New Republic.

well han was the one who destroyed it. just like luke and death star1.  and since when has being balanced worked in favor of the NR or the rebels?  a invulnerable fighter with death star powers. It would be an upgraded death star. For the IR i dont think it such a bad idea.

well the sun crusher could be like a ssd but with planet destroying capabilities and only if han solo is in battle can it be destroyed

Yeah i guess or you could also have Kyp Durron flying it for a while (like in Daalas era)
and what bout the invids? they were a major pain for the new republic maybe they could control the jensauuri planet at the beginning of GC.
