You just have to be able to use him to his fullest effect.  I just use him as a beefed up transport.
I also think the raid missions should be more like the corruption missions and not allow the rebels to take control of the planet.

Agreed, he is just a floating rock with guns tied on the corners.

it's not a glitch, the reason only one turbo fires at a time is because each turret has a certain firing arc, they dont swivel 360 they can only fire in front of them

well, i can get one TL to fire, but the second TLD doesn't assist unless it's horizontal to the target which takes too long and makes it vulnerable.

somehow, the ai use garm flawlessly, but whenever i use him, it acts like a nomada rig and doesn't fire. once one TL cannon is destroyed, you'e fucked. plus, you'd need at least 2 AT-ATs to defend.

it's true that rebel ground is too overpowered. they usually bring Garm, few MPTLs, perhaps a speeder or two and with those they always decimate my forces, no matter how good they are.

ok, thanks i finally know wat was happening, although they kept bringing garm bel iblis and some of the fire balls all over things :P
but ya, ive got my answer now, and i do agree with you this is actually a good idea and is realistic to star wars (know that i know what is happening)

if you know that particular planet always gets raided. build some turbolasers and garrison some troops.

it's toomonotonous though. i find as empire, anaxes always gets raided by han solo, a MPTL and a speeder and the occasional T4-B.

Tbh, i like the Raid feature.  I mean, it is the sort of tactic the Rebellion used, and by letting them invade without having to engage the powerful Imperial fleet, balances the game better.

ugh i hate the rebellion it took like 30 minutes for one battle where i had no land units to start with i finally won but it was boring....  :HA:
I hate raid fleets and the rebels as well, especially when they use their artillery which is too overpowered
