I was testing it a bit. But i dunno it still looks weird for me.

Seems like Petro implemented it in last-minute.
it works great on the Imp Juggernaut, i've never really seen it do much for the Consortium corvette though

point defense is designed to target missiles and starfighters. but i guess for balance reasons it should only be missiles

It only shoots down missiles, and hits up to 4 at a time. It is point defense.

U mean that weird "thing" on that small Consorcium ship?

I'm not sure but i think it works more like some attack booster against fighters rather then real point def. system, but i will check it asap to see more.

Its already in FoC as an ability, which is what we're using. However, they only put it on one ship.

About point defense.. hm well at least you try, its great to know someone is trying to make it workable. I was wondering when (and if at all...) will someone try to bring that feature in FoC  ;)

First Question: They're essentially blue turbolasers. We've made them a bit stronger than the lasers and turbolasers.

Second Question: Imperial-IIs have four Octuple Barbette Turbolasers.

Third Question: Some ships will have point defense systems, but I'm not sure exactly how well it'll work.

Hi i like this mod (especially ur mini-mods  ;) ) and i have a few questions. I read this update and i have to saythis is the first mod (as far as know) thats make different types of weapon hardpoints. Thats GREAT! I was always fed why and how can some shitty small ship have same type of turbolasers like my shiny Star Destroyer :) About my question, i read this:

Is it possible to make some missile types (proton etc...) targetable? I mean it would be if bigger ships will have a point defence system that would be able to shot down some torpedos etc.
