I have agreed you with the whole time. And I also agree that they should fill in the blanks in the history rather than bringing up more chaos and destrution to present. I mean that after 22 BBY when the Clone Wars began there has been almost continual war on the Galaxy. When the Empire was formed few years of peace but then conflicts began again. same at 19 ABY. Few years of peace then came the YV. after that was the Killiks. And now Jacen "the LOOSER" Solo.

The Wheel of TIme is perhaps the longest book series, and I mean in terms of pages, because most of the Star War's books are split into small grouups of five-six books that are about five hundred pages each. And the Wheel of Time is actually immersive, or just more so than most other book series.
