Invidious and Errant Venture (well, sort of anyhow) being most prominent, not mentioning the times when certain ships dropped out of sight while on special missions (such as the Admonitor when Thrawn was in the unknown regions), and then there is the possibility for a ship to hide in deep space, or in a nebulae field, or use a cloaking device (all of which have occurred in one form or another).
