There are no icons on the start screen

I have downloaded the latest version of the mod correctly when i launch the mod there are no icons to go into say a singleplayer game and so on but if i hit enter i can go into a singleplayer game the only way i can change the mod is by deleting it reason being is i can't see any icons to click is there a fix?
