I don't believe that there is a faction called the "crimson empire". There is the "greater maldrood" which uses the crimson command vsds. Is that what your'e talking about?

Crimson Empire is the Imperial Remnant under Carnor Jax, the second part of era 3. A roster hasn't been shown, although I believe it was mentioned that they won't have Sovereigns.

Crimson Empire was very strapped for resources as none of the Warlords supported them and left them with few major fleet elements.
