Stellaris Mod proposition
« on: May 05, 2017, 07:34:13 PM »
I have a question for everybody, would a Stellaris Story driven mod of ICW sound like a good idea because I think it does but I don't know if the mod team would ever develop a mod for the game but if they did they could have a great story driven campaign with it.

I also know that if they ever did one for Stellaris it would be way after, Ascendancy, ICW, and Fall of the Republic were done. Because all those mods are huge tasks in their own merits.

It's not because there's already a mod that's as good as ICW/Ascendancy?

I was going to do some ship packs at some point, but those exist already for a lot of the more popular stuff, so I didn't feel that was as urgent, I'll get to it eventually if I'm still into it.

As far as another full conversion mod, we're not committing ourselves to another project that big. A few model packs would be relatively easy, but a TC would stretch us too thin. More importantly, I'm not into Stellaris enough to want to do that, at least not right now. The amount of time I would need to spend figuring everything out, both mechanic wise and modding wise, just isn't worth it to me for how I currently feel about the game.
I also have a YouTube channel where I talk about mod development and gaming, do tutorials, and Let's Plays. If you like the content, consider supporting it on Patreon

Okay, I figured if it did ever happen that it would be a while after all your other modding projects finished. Some ship packs would be nice as it would give more diversity to the Star Wars ships to choose from

An Empire of the Hand ship pack or a Imperial Civil War ship pack could be very interesting
