Eh, the Quasar design always was rather ugly - not much the team can do about that and stay true to it. Really, really liking the Assault Frigate model though.

Ugly, but highly functional for its purpose.

And the Assault Frigate is indeed gorgeous.

They look different to the EAW models because 1. It's not EAW and 2. Most of the units ingame were not in EAW.

They have changed the look of a few ships, making them different than what they have in the EaW mod... So yeah, if you were referring to the one I think you are, they have created a new model/thing.

I've had a super hectic month which has prevented much from being posted, but here's a few screenshots of some Imperial stuff in anticipation of the trailer coming out. There's three, so make sure to check out each one.

I'm going to do a quick rundown of progress and what remains to be done later tonight.

Their model was super old and inefficient, so as part of our ongoing attempts to optimize stuff, Slevered did a complete overhaul on the mesh (it's now one third of the polygons while still looking better) and a new skin.

The model was super old, and had a lot of geometry in places you'd never actually see, plus some edges were bevelled for some reason, using twice as many vertices/polies to do the same thing. Similar to the issues we addressed with the Clawcraft, BAC, and a ton of other stuff recently.

That does give a much better impression of the scale of the Executor than EaW can.
