Star Wars EU Movie dream Casting
« on: August 31, 2013, 04:22:19 AM »
If you could cast any actor or actress as your favorite EU characters who would you pick?
I'd say Benedict Cumberbatch as Thrawn, Jeremy Irons as C'baoth and John Cleese as Pellaeon.
Robert Downey Jr as Karrde, Sam Elliot as Bel Iblis, and Jane Levy as Jade.

Thoughts?

Hugo Weaving as Thrawn (Cumberbatch too young, maybe as Tierce). Also, John Rhys Meyers as Jag Fel.

I actually do think Cumberbatch would make a great Tierce

Weaving as Thrawn? That would be epic. He has such a commanding voice.

Cumberbatch as Thrawn, Sean Connery as C'baoth my reasoning for this is C'baoth is supposed to be a twisted form of Ben Kenobi who was played by one of the most respected actor of his time in Sir Alec Guiness(?) so it makes sense to get another great old guy for C'baoth, Vigo Mortensen as Pellaeon, Karl Urban as Han Solo.  I don't know who would play Leia, Luke, Mara, or Garm yet but RDJ would be awesome as Karrde.

C'baoth with a scottish accent, interesting. If he hadn't already been Count Dooku I'd say Christopher Lee would have been a good C'baoth.

Scots make everything better. I also would like to add Julie Roberts (or Julia which ever one played Mary Poppins) as Mon Mothma.

Nice choice, completely forgot about Mothma
