freezes on startup

When i launch the mod it just freezes on the picture of a stormtrooper. I'm using steam and the latest FoC patch

How long are you leaving it to load before giving up? ICW takes longer to load than vanilla.

Does it crash, with an exception error coming up or a return to desktop, or is it just staying on the loading screen for a long time? If it's the second, like Slornie said, the mod will take a lot longer to load than the original game, especially for older computers.

Yeah, I realized when I installed 2.0 release that with an added 1.5 GB of info when COMPRESSED...yeah, no shocker that it takes longer to load.
