Question about xml editing
« on: March 27, 2012, 01:32:30 PM »
If I were to edit the distance from which I can see a unit (specifically, in space) what value would I need to edit? I want to make the SSDs in TR be able to be seen from much farther away, since the distance from which you can see them is ridiculously small, how would I increase this?

Units have their own lines of sight, it's not a different distance that different ships can be seen from. You can see anything within the reveal range (the circle) around that ship, you can't make it so you have different bubbles that show different ships. If you mean you want to make every ship have larger reveal ranges, then it's Space_FOW_Reveal_Range. We've already drastically increased them for 2.0, but just because a unit can see you doesn't mean you can see it.
