in fact, Hungarian is not that wide-spread.
Sadly Hungary is small and others tend to look down on us.
But if I will ever go to 'murica, I think I'll bring some specialties from my homeland and make them popular. I swear it!
Though in New York, as I know there is a Hungarian couple operating a traditional Lángos food truck and half of the big apple is trying to catch them...

Edit: All right, I'll explain. It is from an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation called "Darmok" where the crew encounters a species that communicates by metaphor, by alluding to characters and stories. "Shaka, when the walls fell" means a failure to do something, "Darmok and Jelad at Tanagra" is two people coming together over a common struggle, "Temba, his arms open" is offering a gift, "The river Temarc in winter" is telling someone to stop what they're doing, and "Kadir beneath Mo Moteh" is a failure to communicate.

That was a really good episode right there. Currently rewatching TNG on Netflix (I've seen most of it, but a couple episodes here and there I need to fill in). When that's done I'll have officially finished watching all Star Trek series, including The Animated Series.

Agreed completely. DS9 is really good. To me it feels the most real of the shows. I often use it (in particular from the Klingon War onward) as an object of what I feel a live action Star Wars series should be like. the heroes aren't perfect and the villains have depth. Plus who doesn't love Garak and Odo?

Honestly, my favorite character arc on DS9 is Damar's. Gets introduced as a background lackey of Dukat, who himself is hands-down Star Trek's most developed and complex villain, and ends up absolutely crucial to the show's resolution (I'd say more, but I'd rather not spoil anything for those who have yet to experience DS9's excellence).

In fairness, the impetus for his changes needed to happen before he could truly become interesting, and that didn't come until late in the war.

True. He really didn't have a reason to be more than a background character until then. On a related note, they released a video showcasing the main ship for the new Star Trek series that's coming out. Based off of old McQuarrie concept art from when he was hired to consult on the TV series that would later be cancelled in favor of The Motion Picture. The design is definitely different.

Yeah, I can't say I'm a fan of the design. It just rubs me the wrong way aesthetically. The Star Trek Reddit seems nicely divided over it.
